When bringing your personal effects & household goods in to Australia, they have to be cleared with CUSTOMS and QUARANTINE. You can do this yourself or nominate someone else to do this for you, or request our company to handle this for you.

You will need to complete a B534 form (Unaccompanied Personal Effects Statement) available from Customs or download from www.customs.gov.au go to "search" , enter B534, select option 4. Read instructions carefully. This is also on our Documents page.

FULL CONTAINERS
If your goods are arriving as a full container, the container will have to be unpacked and inspected by Quarantine at an authorised quarantine depot.Containers can not be delivered to residential addresses. Generally, you will not be able to do this yourself . Please contact our office for further details on options to handle full containers.

LESS THAN CONTAINER LOADS
If you wish to do Customs clear yourself , you will need to pay our arrival charges to our office/bank account , then take your passport ,list of goods or packing list ,House Bill of Lading and Delivery Order to the Customs office in your port/airport of arrival.Once Customs and Quarantine have cleared your shipment, take your paperwork to the depot listed on our Delivery Order. Once containers have been unpacked, and goods available, you generally have 3 days to collect your shipment, after that storage will apply (Minimum $110.00 per day in some depots) Whilst we will endevour to keep you informed of cargo availability dates, it is your responsibility to check with the depots. We accept no responsibilty for storage costs.Quarantine will often want to inspect your shipment so to avoid storage costs, you will need to action your customs clearance immediately when the vessel arrives.
Customs offices are listed below for each port.
